Edition No. 2 is a collaboration between Macallan’s Master Whisky Maker and the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca. Together, they selected seven different cask types to craft a bold and dynamic expression that highlights complexity and depth.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich sherry, toffee apple, dried fruit, vanilla, and warm spices.
Palate: Creamy and spicy with layers of chocolate, nutmeg, clove, and oak.
Finish: Long, warming, and spiced with lingering fruit and oak.
Alcohol Volume: Macallan Edition No. 2 is bottled at 48.2% ABV.
