The Whisky That Created a Buzz in Korea

Michel Couvreur Intravaganza CS gained considerable attention in South Korea after Kang Min-kyung of popular singing duo Davichi praised it on her YouTube channel in April 2024. She shared that she discovered it through fellow singer Park Jae-jung at a whisky bar—and enjoyed it so much that she bought bottles to keep at home.

Following its appearance, Korean whisky publications reported a surge in interest and shortages at retailers. Often called “Kang Min-kyung’s whisky”, Intravaganza became a sought-after bottle among Korean enthusiasts.
